Khwebo
is a young, vibrant, dynamic business with a team that combines almost
100 years of experience in various disciplines. Coming from different
backgrounds and spanning different generations, the team has a uniquely
strong multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary approach to challenging
existing paradigms, unrealistic and unsustainable outcomes.
Khwebo
introduces a new solution ensuring that there is a definite return on
investment in every transaction or agreement concluded. “If management
is about running the business, then good corporate governance is about
seeing that business is run properly, thus the principle of
accountability is very crucial throughout.“
Khwebo
is a local company striving to engineer profitability in projects and
programmes underpinning relationships between stakeholders .It is
common-cause, based on firsthand experience that desired results are
seldom achieved. The operations of Khwebo currently embrace a win-win
paradigm. Resources not well allocated often created unintended
consequences that stakeholders often find impossible to reverse.
The
Benefits Quality-Enhancement Approach (BQE) underpins the visionary
approach Khwebo has devised. Through the BQE Approach ALL stakeholders
affected and involved are implored to appreciate that it is compulsory
to adhere to the ethos of accountability.
There have to be win-win outcomes. There has to be a return on investment. Sustainability must be achieved.
Why are we doing this?
“Unfortunately
our current school curriculum does not prepare learners for the fact
that they will one day have to compete for a place in overcrowded
universities or a flooded job market. The school system teaches learners
to look for a job and not to be prepared to create their own job“
The
fact remains that people are forced into entrepreneurship due to
circumstances, but unfortunately most lack the basic skills and
knowledge required to ensure that the business becomes sustainable.
We want to change that, and it’s our firm believe that everyone should have access to information and learning delivered by people who have been through the pain and frustration of owning a small business.
As mentors and facilitators, we draw on our experience from a wide range of sectors to develop and deliver hands-on skill transfer programs aimed to support start-up and existing SMME’s. Our service can be tailored to suit any required level of intensity or time-frame for delivery.

- One on One Coaching & Mentoring - (We don’t just ask questions, but work with you to find the answers!) Coaching sessions are private and all information shared remains confidential. We concentrate on strategy, marketing, Finances, sales, systems, planning and goal setting, but all areas of concern will covered during the sessions.
- Workshops – Fully qualified and experienced facilitators are available, practicing in the field of Finance, Marketing & Media, Planning & Goal setting, Health (HIV), Family Care and Wellness.
- Business Plan Development - We work with our clients to develop a fully comprehensive plan that can be presented to financial institutions or for grant applications.
- Business Feasibility and Case Studies, Market Research and Strategy Planning.

- Licensed Agents and Facilitators for “Vula Amehlo Empowerment Program” - A Services Seta Accredited Organization reg.no: 3760 “ This course can be delivered to Entrepreneurs, Managers and employees on all levels with proven success, no matter what the size of the organisation, government or private. Some of the companies who implemented the course with huge success are BMW South-Africa and SANLAM.
- Retrenchment Management and Relief
The Course can be successfully delivered to employees that are about to be retrenched, or have been retrenched. Helping them cope with the process, build their self esteem, bring out their entrepreneurial spirit, assist them with starting their own businesses and also assist with the source of funding. This not only provides them with an alternative to unemployment but also builds the community’s trust in the organization doing the retrenchments. It will provide more employment in the future as the businesses grow. The 6 month mentorship that forms part of the program will assist with financial management and business skill development ensuring that the new SMME’s become sustainable and add value to the community and economy of the country.
